What We Stand For
CUPE 30 is the union that represents the municipal workers for the City of Edmonton and many of the surrounding areas. Including EPCOR, Ft. Saskatchewan, Thorsby, and Explore Edmonton. Thousands of labourers, waste collectors, operators, recreation employees, and peace officers have come together to stand up for our rights and to ensure that we can be treated fairly. Successes achieved by one union can impact working conditions in all sectors of the economy. Union officers understand that people must work together to solve problems, and unions are a mechanism for doing so.
Events
CUPE 30 works to be a resource for our members and our community.
In addition to our monthly meetings, CUPE 30 hosts events for members entertainment or for charitable purposes. Check back often as we often add new events!
Why Become a Member?
Becoming a member means that you get to have your say on how your union is run. You get to vote in union elections, join a committee, and make a difference in your union. We’ll support you with training, experience, and community. A union is only as strong as its membership, and bringing in new voices and ideas is how we build our strength!
